I am a fan of Apple Bee’s as they serve very good set lunch and also they have various Happy hour promotions which is quite attractive. But my favourite is still their $8.80 Nett set lunch. 🙂
Their set lunch comes with 8 different types of scrumptious combinations.
- Baked Beef Bolognese – Bed of spaghetti topped with meat sauce & melted cheese
- Mushroom Swiss Burger – Swiss and sauteed mushroom crown our hand crafted burger on a toasted bakery bun. Served with fries
- Fish N Chips – Tender fish fillet coated with bread crumbs and fry into golden, served with fries, coleslaw and tar tar sauce
- Hand Breaded Chicken Fingers – Tender, juicy hand breaded and downright delicious, served with honey mustard, fries and coleslaw
- Fried Chicken Salad – Juicy hand breaded chicken, cheese, tomatoes and egg rest on fresh salad greens, served with honey mustard
- Chicken Mushroom Pasta – Your choice of penne or fettuccine pasta over creamy mushroom alfredo sauce tooped with grilled chicken breast and cheese
- Steak Caesar Salad – Juicy grilled steak on top of crispy romaine lettuce tossed in our garlic caesar dressing, topped with croutons and shredded parmesan cheese
- Tijuana Sandwich – Shredded beef with mushroom roll in golden toasted tortilla filled with cheese, pico de gallo and bacon, served with fries
And their set lunch menu does change every few months. 🙂
It is at a pretty prominent corner at TripleOne Somerset which is impossible to miss as it is next to Fairprice Finest and also right at the main entrance.
Staff are courteous and I must say they have quite many serving staff, so occasionally you will expect different staff coming back to ask you for your order. As Apple Bee’s is an American family chain, they also brought some of their US serving standards to Singapore too.
The Steak Caesar Salad comes with decent portion of steak slices, and the steak was so tender too, if you do not feel like carbo, this is a good option.
Fish N Chips comes with 3 pieces of breaded fillet, do not underestimate the portion of this, this is so filling and you might have difficulty finishing them since it comes with thick fries and also coleslaw.
And this is by far my favourite, hand breaded chicken with salad. The chicken are so succulent and goes so well with the salad, the honey mustard dressing just lift the whole dish up in secs.
If you are going in groups, you can also order some of their appetizers too. Like Nachos, which comes in a very large portions even though it is regular size, this can feed 6 pax or more if everyone orders their set lunch.
This is Wanton Tacos is also one of my favourite too, tangy ingredients of chicken or prawns in perfectly fried wanton shells. Party in the mouth in every bite.
All their set lunch comes with either coke, sprite or iced tea too. So if you do around the vincinity, do drop by Apple Bee’s and try out their set lunch menu. 🙂
