This Valentine’s Day, why not make it extra special, try ice cream cake for a change? Baskin Robbins have this new ice cream cake just for Valentine’s Day, and I am lucky enough to get to try one! Yeah!

Yup, this week is my birthday, and my beloved sister and her boyfriend have bought me this Baskin Robbins Ice Cream cake as my birthday cake, yeah! xoxo 🙂

This ice cream cake called Love Concerto, price at $35 is a ice cream cake that can serve 4 – 5 pax.

It is made of a chocolate fudge cake base and Strawberry yogurt ice cream, covered with a layer of chocolate ice cream and topped with fresh frozen strawberries.

The box that come with the cake looks so gorgeous too! It is stuffed with large pieces of dry ice to prevent the cake from melting. And I must say their ice cream cake really melts rather quickly, so be sure to cut the cake swiftly once it is out of the box. 🙂

They even have the cutting instructions, like using a warm knife for easy cutting printed on the box.

Taste wise, it is fabulous! I have always been a big fan of Baskin Robbins ice cream, and to be able to have it with chocolate fudge cake, icing on the cake indeed. 🙂

The strawberry yogurt ice cream is not overly sweet and is full of strawberry flavor. The chocolate fudge cake is slightly sweeter and soft, goes oh so well with the strawberry yogurt ice cream. The frozen strawberries was quite sour though but because it is frozen, it taste like sorbet to me. 🙂
