Just went to Danro at Nex to try out this steamboat joint, which is just located side by side of MOF Lenas, and also right in front of their Korean arm of buffet restaurant. I must say at a price like this, it aim too bad, my family had a good time there. π
Only thing I hope they can change, hmm.. may be not to charge the rice stick, its an additional fees which doesn’t come along with the buffet.

When it comes to Natto, Japanese fermented beans, you either love it or hate it, but surprisingly for myself, I hated it at first and now I am eating it every week.
This slimy fermented beans are so humble and so healthy, now I really understand why Japanese loves it. Every week, I need my fix by going to Meidiya japanese supermarket and get my weekly supply.
There are various ways of eating it, but I like to eat it with cucumbers or if I feel like splurging, goes with Maguro tuna or Ika squid sashimi, both are really good too!
As Natto contains not just one but many healthy components like calcium, iron, protein, potassium, magnesium and many others, it is really power food.
It is so easy to prepare as well, basically just mix the natto with the dressing given in the pack, which is usually dashi or some flavoured dressing, mixed it until it goes all gooey and slimy and then pour it over the rest of the ingredients, it is so simple, you can even make it simplier by just adding mustard or wasabi, it taste equally great.

Octopus and cucumber japanese appetizers
This is really simple, just added chopped octopus sashimi pieces, add some cucumber cubes and drizzle with some sesame dressing, you have an appetizers and salad in minutes. You can also use vinegar and sugar as well to make a sourish appetizers called Takosu

I like to prepare lots of appetizers at home and I can just eat it without even touching mains, you can also do that and it is very easy and also easy on the stomach as well too π
As I do not like to grease up the whole home with BBQ meats, so I usually will cook up all in batches and then serve together. Like this mini party will be a beef party, so I bought beef tongue, karubi, slices and do up different variations of grilled meat dishes.
