Since Easter is here this weekend, I have promised my son to make another batch of cupcakes and this time round Easter cupcakes.

During my last trip to Candylicious at resort world sentosa, I got some Robin eggs, little morsels of sugar coated chocolates with a malt filling and look exactly like eggs, which will come handy this time round as I wanted to make bird nest cupcakes.

I was in the supermarket over the weekends and got myself a pack of all bran cereal which I think might do the trick 🙂

BREAKFAST IDEAS USING HAPPYCALL PAN – ONE SET FOR THE ADULTS ONE SET FOR THE LITTLE KIDS

I like to prepare some nice breakfast on weekends so that I can enjoy with my family, we will make pancakes, sandwiches, hotdogs, or big breakfasts, well usually something western. 🙂 My son will also get to break some eggs and prepare his own breakfast too.

So to test out how quickly I can whip up a breakfast using the Happycall pan, I have tried it out last sunday.

I also managed to make a child version of a big breakfast too. 🙂

So if you have a Happycall pan, why not try it out besides your usual lunch or dinner menu, breakfast can be cooked swiftly too!

QUICK AND SIMPLE RECIPES – SALAD USING KWEPIE MENTAIKO DRESSING

Spicy fish roe is a delicacies in Japan that it has transform itself to different products. Don’t be surprise if you come across products such as bread, salad dressing, rice balls, potato chips, rice crackers, biscuits with flavours of spicy fish roe (mentaiko).

I am totally a convert to spicy fish roe, the first time I saw my ex-Japanese boss bringing his lunch box packed by his wife, inside his lunch box, it only contains rice, spicy fish roe and a side salad. I was so intrigued that in my Japan trip, I finally bought it from the airport and cooked my first mentaiko spaghetti, and it tasted so yummy and surreal!

The savory of the fish roe and a little hint of spiciness is so addictive, it has zero taste of fishiness yet it is just something that you can’t get your head around, how the flavour can go well with so many food. And from there onwards, I have been hooked, whenever I saw products that is made of spicy fish roe, it will just go straight into my supermarket shopping basket. 🙂

Come Valentine’s Day, one popular kind of recipe must be Chocolate Fondue, but not many people knows just how quick and simple you can whip up a Chocolate fondue for that someone special.

Okay, fine, my someone special besides my husband, will be my little boy, so I did add a little cute children stuff to it. But please do try this out, and you will find this Chocolate fondue recipes is not only versatile, but also definitely a crowd pleaser or a great sweet end to your romantic candle light dinner. 🙂

Ingredients is simple, basics you will just need :

Chocolate (semi sweet / sweet / dark / chocolate bars / chocolate chips) – anything you like, I choosed semi sweet chocolate chips x 150g
Fresh cream x 100ml
Water x 2 tablespoon

SALAD DRESSING REVIEW – WISHBONE LOW CALORIE DRESSING SPRITS

Hi there

When it comes to salad, I am a salad dressing franatic, especially when I go to overseas, I will bring back bottles and bottles of dressing, especially if it is from Japan! love their never ending concoction of dressings, it will be something that I would like to post here so that you will know which is good next time when you head down to the supermarket. 🙂

Okay back to the dressing. I saw this Wish Bone Salad Spritzers Caesar Delight with Olive Oil Vinaigrette Dressing while I was shopping at Cold Storage. What attracted me to it was the 2 calories per spray, looks convenient enough and healthy enough as well.

Part of me kept telling myself, finally a way to control my usual overdose of dressing, but part of me said this might not be something I will enjoy as it probably lacks kick. But I found out I was actually very wrong. 🙂

I can use this for 2 separate breakfasts too. Just half a pack, can serve 4 thick pieces of hotcakes and was good enough for 2 adults & 1 kid to share. Just mix & cook, how simple is that?
