L’OPERETTA PIZZERIA NEW MENU AT ICON VILLAGE

I have heard quite a bit of good reviews about L’Operetta, the only branch that I have been to is the L’Operetta Cafe at Duxton which is probably have closed down since. During my last visit, it was pretty good. Another outlet that is recently bumping with customers is the one in Boat Quay too.

So after I heard that their Icon Village branch has a new menu, I would really like to try it out next time when I am at Tanjong Pagar. 🙂

Their Pizza pricing range from $18 to $30+, and antipasto start from $5. So if you do pass by there, perhaps you might want to try out this new menu. 🙂

I usually visit Hougang Mall couple of times per month to do some marketing at their Kangkar Fairprice supermarket, so I do dropped by there for lunch ocassionally too. Now there is some good news for me, Lenas finally opened at Hougang Mall! yeah!

Western food with Japanese / American / Italian influence is just at a neighbourhood mall near you, isn’t that sweet? 🙂

MEDZS AT ORCHARD CENTRAL PART II – SERIOUSLY GOOD DESSERTS FOR JUST $2.50

Back in September last year, I have made a review of Medzs on their set lunch, and now its about a year, and I am back to see if there is anything new this time round. 🙂

They have 2 time slot for lunches now, one is Express lunch, which mean if you can pay your bill by 1230pm, you will get to enjoy your set lunch at $6.50 instead of the usual $7.50.

PECK BAKERY AT TAKASHIMAYA – UNQIUE / TASTY / AFFORDABLE – A SLICE OF MILANO

One of my regular bakeries where I like to get my weekday breakfast bakeries is Peck at Takashimaya if I go to town during the weekends. 🙂

Peck is a Milan bakery which is under the Four Leave Bakery chain. They are well known in Italy for its wines, oils, balsamic vinegars, pasta, which can be found in their shelving.

These Italian bread will make you come back for more after you have tried it, especially after they are lightly warmed or toasted in the oven too. 🙂

Various soft rolls, focaccia, calzone, tomato buns, lots of rustic loaves will greet you right at the entrance.

PEPPERONI PIZZERIA – CONTENDER FOR BEST PIZZA IN SINGAPORE!

Talk about pizza and Peperoni under the Les Amis group will be one of the leading pizzeria in Singapore. So far, from everyone that has been there, I have never heard of anything bad about it, that’s quite impressing really.

And when you are talking about large pizza, you will also not be disappointed too because Peperoni pizza are famous for making the XXL family size pizza, which can literally occupy the whole table.

As for the accessibility, let’s just put it this way, it is not at all the easiest place to get to, be it the Greenwood branch or the Frankel avenue, but I guess good food does put you in this motivated spot that you will just go anywhere just to scout for it. 🙂

So here I am, looking for the quickest and painless and affordable way to get there, taking the train to Kembangan MRT station and then changed to taxi which is just 5 mins away, not bad actually. Cost me less than $4 to get there.

After scoring some Wicked musical tickets, my next target is to check out any interesting dining places just before the show starts. Okay, something special it got to be, since it is not really any regular day where I can enjoy some quality time, just myself with another mummy. So after doing a little research, we decided to settle for Pizzeria Mozza. 🙂

I must say thinking a place to eat at Marina Bay Sands can be mind boggling, one is because how expensive the restaurant places can be, and another is just how far you got to walk from one end to the other! But not that I am complaining because I got to see many interesting looking cafes, food places along the way. 🙂
