DAISO PRODUCT REVIEWS – SPICY YUZU CHIPS – SPICE OF YUZU

Hi there

During my regular Daiso shopping, I got several packs of new flavored chips, and one of them is Spicy Yuzu chips, I could not even get this is Mediya supermarket, so I am quite happy to snap it up. 🙂

First bite you can taste the mild yuzu citrus flavor, and the after mild heatness is quite different from the usual Yuzu pepper. Although I still prefer Yuzu pepper rather than chili yuzu, this is also quite tasty, try it out if you like Yuzu with a twist. 🙂

FLAVORED SEAWEED WAKAME – ZERO CALORIES & UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS

Since my trip to Japan, I have been head over heels to these seaweed snack. I was literally shipping back cartons of this as it is soooo tasty and ta ta.. zero calories! 🙂

So what’s not like about it?

There are actually many snacks like this in Japan, its can be eaten as snack or sometimes to pair it with some alcohol, both are great.

So far, the flavors that I have come across include plum, bonito both spicy and non spicy, original vinegar, and there are even lettuce version too!

I got this Hokkaido Candy process cheese together with the Hokkaido smoked cheese.

I find the Hokkaido smoked cheese are more suitable for adults’ consumption because it taste awesome with some chilled white wine, whereas for these Hokkaido Candy Processed Cheese, it is much more suitable for the kiddos.

I am just amazed how they can come up with so many flavors every year!

This time round, managed to get this limited edition Yuzu pepper, you know how it goes so well with savory food or steamboat, now pair with these with these small yet packs a punch rice crackers, I literally fall in love again.. literally.

BONTAN CANDY – CHEWY CITRUSY WAFFER CANDY

My husband loves this candy, I tasted my first Bontan citrus candy last year and could not stop buying it whenever I go to Japan. The best part, they sell in Japan Daiso and 100 yen gives you 2 packs, so you see how I can stock this up. 🙂

I like how it is not overly sweet and with this waffer paper wrapped around it, this silky smooth edible wrapping makes it so easy to eat more than one or two. 🙂

WASABI MAYONNAISE RICE CRACKERS AT LAST MIN PURCHASE IN TOKYO NARITAL AIRPORT

Ok, this is a last minute purchase at Narita airport, I was just grabbing some stuff to get for my colleagues and saw this huge huge bag of crackers which says wasabi mayonaise.

As my husband loves wasabi flavor, so I got this, although I am kind of skeptical that he will likes mayonnaise pairing.

But this turn out to be a very very good buy! 🙂

DAISO JAPANESE POWER RANGERS KIDS CURRY – EVEN MY SON DIGS IT

In my last trip to Japan, I told myself I will get my son a package of all power rangers stuff like coloring books, stationery, seaweed, candies, you know like get a theme going.

Then how cool is it that I can find power rangers japanese curry too, and better still in Daiso!
