DAISO SNACK ATTACK – DAISO MICROWAVE POP CORN REVIEWS

Hi there

My son has been eyeing for this pack of pop corn for quite sometime whenever we go to Daiso, it all started his “first official popcorn session” when I brought him to watch his first movie in the cinema and whenever we talked about movie, he will just say popcorn ^^”

I think I have quite a handful of experience making popcorn, using those packets sold at supermarkets, just microwave couple of minutes and you have all these puffy savory popcorn, the butter salt flavour has always been my favourite when I make it at home, which is why I only eat sweet caramel popcorn in theatre. 🙂

So after a little discussion of how he will be a good boy at home watching our favourite show, I have made a deal to purchase this and the fact that he still could not understand how a flat pack can turn into a big pack of popcorn excites him a lot too. 🙂

DAISO CHINATOWN POINT OPENING SOON! ALWAYS $2 ALWAYS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED

Daiso Chinatown Point is opening soon at the end of November 2012, so fans of Daiso, you will just get another place for your $2 shopping fix. 🙂

Stay tune on the actual date of opening! 🙂 From what I know China Town Point is doing a major revamp, I wonder how this will turn out. But with Daiso in there, it didn’t look shabby at all. 🙂

RED BEAN WITH PEAR STEAM CAKE USING DAISO STEAM CAKE MIX – HEALTHY ALTERNATIVE

I like to get these packets of powder or pre mix from Daiso as it is easy to use, definitely whole lot of fun and also oh so affordable. 🙂

My son can’t agree more and when I propose to him if he want to try this out, he instantly told me he want to make apple pie with it 🙂 I told him this is not for apple pie and after so coaxing, I finally bargained with him to add pear in this which is like a “distant relative” to apple pie but close enough to be in the family, haha…

This steam cake mix comes in two flavours, plain or brown sugar. The brown sugar ones is just like the chinese brown huat kueh that you see, but I choosed the white plain ones as it look so fluffy on the packaging. 🙂

HAPPYCALL PAN CAKE RECIPES – BETTY CROCKER MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE USING DAISO HAND MIXER

I hae long wanted to try out my Happycall pan for desserts besides pancakes, and with a box of Betty Crocker which I bought during Robinson expo sale, it will be a great time to try out this Happycall cake recipes. 🙂

Besides that I also got a handmixer from Daiso, yup, you hear me right, $2 for a hand mixer? cool isn’t it? and it became my son’s new found tool 😀

The Betty Crocker Super Moist cake mix that i got is as what it says super moist, I tried once before and it is not very dense because it has pudding mix in it. So I am also a little apprehensive if the cake can turn out too moist and might crack while cooking.

As for this Daiso hand mixer, it comes with various cool sunshine colors like pink, green, blue and yellow, all you need is pop in couple of batteries and is all ready for its action. 🙂

QUICK & SIMPLE KIDS BENTO RECIPE IDEAS – INDOOR FOOTBALL IN A LUNCHBOX

Hi there

Last week I promised my little boy to bring him to the park and make a lunch box last week, and whenever I tell him about it, his eyes will brighten up, so I am also really looking forward to it. But its the weekend and the weather is so gloomy so we have to cancel our little trip. 🙁

However to make it up and cheer him up, I decided to make him a really nice lunch box, he has his eyes to play ball in the park, so I decided to use this theme to make something fun. 🙂

I bought a cute lunch box from Daiso few weeks back as this happy bear face will definitely cheer any kids around, and I am sure my boy will love it as much as I do. This lunch box comes in 1 tier, but you can still place some items like cooler at the top tier or pancakes, something that doesn’t spill. 🙂

DAISO TAMPINES 1 OPENING AT MID JULY (SCHEDULED 17 JULY 2012)

Daiso is opening another outlet at Tampines 1. 🙂

Opening date will be mid July. 🙂 I checked with them and they said it is scheduled on 18 July 2012. Yeah!

Daiso Tampines 1 I just went to Daiso today, and get to see another range of new products coming in, will post it soon , Yeah!! I don’t know about you, but somehow my $10 worth so much more whenever I go to Daiso. hee hee… Feels like a rich mama all of a sudden. 🙂

I just had one over the weekend 🙂 and it was all thanks to my son. I wanted to do our weekend artwork with my son and thought of getting some pasta but then while passing by the chiller section, I saw this pack of cute looking mantou.

And especially it is under the Sakura brand, I thought I will try it out and try to make Mantou Sandwich for my son’s sunday morning scrumptious breakfast.

KIDS SUMMER POPSICLE RECIPES – KIDS LOVE USING DAISO POPSICLE MOLD

As the scotching weather persist or even escalate, there is just one thing in our household that has been currently under our grocery list – ice cream.. ice cream… more ice cream…

But of course even though ice cream are nice (… realllllly niceee), I wanted to try my hands, or rather my son’s hands on making our own ice popsicle to beat the scotching sun that is both nutritious and fun to do so that we both can spend some quality bonding time together. 🙂

So I went to Daiso to source for my popsicle mold, you can always use the ice tray in the freezer but I wanted to make it more fun for my son and also go back to the good old time during primary school where we usually buy these popsicle after lunch while walking back to school.
