I got this Hokkaido Candy process cheese together with the Hokkaido smoked cheese.
I find the Hokkaido smoked cheese are more suitable for adults’ consumption because it taste awesome with some chilled white wine, whereas for these Hokkaido Candy Processed Cheese, it is much more suitable for the kiddos.

I managed to get hold of this bottle of Happy Sheep Honey, and I must say I am giving this bottle of honey lots of respect! π
I seldom use honey in fact because the only time I use probably when I am using it to flavor some roast chicken wings or meat.
But this Happy Sheep Honey has made me change my whole perception on honey big time because it is sooooooo versatile, I use this honey for so many dishes and drinks, OMG I really can’t get enough of it.
Hi there
My recent best buy is this Hokkaido smoked cheese which I got from Meidiya for less than $4. It is a small pack but it taste out of this world.
I literally forgot I was eating cheese when I munch on this. π
Hi there
By now you should pretty much know I am a supermarket fanatic and I just lovvveeeee supermarkets and wet markets, and every country I go, if time permits, I will make my way to there. And if I am in Japan, my must go destination always include Tsukiji wet market. π
I always start off with some really good sushi there, I know, this sushi looks so pretty right!!?? Β After sushi at the Tsukiji inner market, I will move on to the outer market where all the real actions for me start. π
Take note of one thing, you need to take the train to the Tsukijishijo station and not Tsukiji station if you want to go to the wet market, it is just only a short 5 mins walk from there.

Hi there
Ever feel lazy to marinade meats like poultry before cooking or wondering how to cook up those nice Karaage chicken you can find in Japanese restaurant? π
I got a short cut for you and that is all lies in the Daiso Karaage Fried Chicken marinade powder.
Actually I am doing 2 posts in one, because I got this powder from Daiso in Japan, not sure if they start selling in Singapore now, but even though if they do not have this which comes with a sweet tangy dressing, you can get the regular Karaage chicken powder, method is exactly the same and also gives the exact same crunch and savory just like those were made in restaurants. π
Hi there
I got this from my last Tokyo trip at the airport just before I board, thought of having it on the flight back to singapore.
Good thing, I didn’t eat it there, because I can savour it at home. π

Everytime I go to Daiso, I will see some new flavour of Tohato, this time round, after trying their cookie and cream, salt, regular, almond, and many many flavours, I found yet another new flavour, haha… this is endless. π
This time round it is caramel corn wrapped in a thick coat of chocolate and peanuts and crunchy cookie to give it an ultimate crunch. For $2 a box, it is really that simple to make my dull afternoon into something exciting. π
