I like to add various toppings in this ramen too, and you might be very surprise to know that it taste just as good as those $20 a bowl ramen you eat at restaurants too. 🙂 (Okay, that’s what my husband said, and I agree with him too!)

Each pack comes with 2 bundles of noodles, and also 2 packet soup base, the soup base is soya sauce base, and is very fragrant, consist of just the right about of savoriness and great when you are busy and just wanted something hot and soupy and of course great tasting too. 🙂

Just like any other instant noodles, you just cook it the way you like it, but I have my own way to make it a little more bite. 🙂

Directions :

  1. Boil noodles in hot boiling water and stir it to avoid noodles clinging together as it has a rather high starch content
  2. Cook for 2 mins and sieve out the water
  3. Run the noodles in tap water or cold water to stop the cooking process and also rinse off any excess starch
  4. Boil another pot of water or just use hot boiling water from your flask, just add in the soup base and stir
  5. If you choose to cook in a pot of hot water, then place the noodles back into the soup and cook a further 15 secs

And Viola~! your noodles are done! 🙂

The noodles are not the thick kind you get in ramen shop but it is more like Kyushu ramen, the skinny ones, which taste oh so wonderful with the soup base given.

As I mention, the important part is really to run it under the tap to rinse off any excess starch, as this will give out a very pleasant overall chewiness to the noodles and of course not cloaking the whole bowl of soup with starchiness. 🙂

You can also sprinkle some roasted sesame too. Love the nutty flavor it brings. 🙂 Enjoy!
