Before my relative come back to Singapore for holidays, I will usually give them a shopping list to get the goodies from NZ, this time round, after googling the supermarket links I decided to get a few thing, and one of it is FogDog Easy Beer Batter for Fish & Chips. 🙂

I think you probably can make the batter on your own, but since the packaging is so cool, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to get a packet to try it out. 🙂
Mixing the batter is just so simple, all I did was :
1) slice the frozen fish fillet into half palm and pat it dry with paper towel
2) Mix 130ml of beer into the batter powder and mix it.
3) Coat the fish fillet with the batter and fry it in hot oil.
FogDog Easy Beer Batter
As 130ml is just half a can of beer, you can enjoy the other half while cooking it. 🙂
The end product using this FogDog Easy Beer Batter is really awesome, so easy and the batter is so light and crispy, definitely one of the better instant batter that I have tried.
And the frozen fish (I recommend you get the product of france), is so fluffy which is really restaurant grade kind of fish and chips.
This powder just goes to my buy again list when my relatives come to singapore. 🙂
