GENKI SUSHI AT ORCHARD CENTRAL – EXCITING DELICIOUS GENKI SUSHI TRAIN ALERT

These days, there are just so many conveyor belt sushi in Singapore, you won’t have any problem getting your belly full if you have some sushi cravings. 🙂

But to me, nothing beats Genki Sushi as it both serve good food and also good “entertainment” to my boy it is 🙂

What sets them apart from the rest is the pricing, how they present it and of course their menu and also the quality. 🙂

I still remember when they have Genki sushi at Forum shopping center many years ago, I tried that but thought nothing to shout about. But since they have opened one at Orchard Central, this place has become my regular sushi joint.

One of the reason which I like to visit Genki Sushi is also the self service “delivery service” of the sushi, my son absolutely loves it, and I can tell you, everytime I go there and when I see the children there, they will be estatic on it. Your sushi does not deliver by staff but rather a train where your plates of sushi will be sitting there.

 

This is such a ingenius way of serving sushi, increase productivity and you don’t need to worry if the sushi has been left on the conveyor belt for long. You can get freshly made sushi delivered over by the cute little train, and your child will then do the honor to press a genki sushi button and send the train back. 🙂

The place is not very big, but it is conducive enough, I have no problems to sit at the counter or booth seat, because the only difference is just that there is a tap in each booth seat, but for counter seat, you will prepare your hot green tea with flask of hot water.

Look at this, sweet rides right?? Red sport cars, Shinkansen train, so cute!!!!

And it also streamline so much on the order process, all via Ipad ordering system, love it, I don’t even need to waste time trying to catch staff’s attention, from ordering down to service call, and to bill payment. Love the whole process.

But with service like this, it won’t work if the food is not good, so I am proud to present some of the best sushi I can find in singapore that is so affordable and delicious.  Genki sushi has quite a good range of cooked sushi, which is great for my son, I absolutely love the trio salmon which comes with mentaiko sauce, mayo with pepper, the smoky flavour is absolutely gorgeous, and I always order 2 sets of it without fail.

The sushi rice is of good quality, so is the soya sauce and ginger, which my husband is very particular about, so far for everyone which I brought them there, including my family and friends and colleagues, everyone give it a two thumbs up 🙂

They also have some interesting creative sushi as well, like the crispy salmon maki, which is not something you can get in other sushi place.

I don’t know about you, but with all these in place, I am always a happy customer at the end of every meal there.

Just one tip, sometimes when you see a long queue in there, you can always check out if they have counter seats available, quite a few times when I was there, I saw the queue but when I ask them if they have counter seats, you automatically be able to get it, I think Singaporean still prefer booth seats 🙂

So if you are having some sushi cravings, or want to go for a sushi place where your child can enjoy, book mark this place, you will not regret it. 🙂
