When I enjoy Japanese traditional sweets, or Wagashi. I usually like to enjoy it quietly because I associate Wagashi with a tranquil ambience so that you can truly enjoy the depth of how good the desserts are, especially pairing it with a cup of really good green tea…yum… 🙂

You can either pair it with green tea or coffee too.
There are various to choose from like Shiberian Castella which is Tsubu-an Youkan (Sweet Bean Jelly) sandwiched between Matcha Castella.
If you like mochi, there are :
- Shigure Kanoko – High grade Japanese sweet with Azuki in a dapled arrangement in Japan, it symbolizes a lightly snow dappled mountain
- Mame Daifuku – Bite into the soft chewy dough to reveal a small sphere of sweet red bean paste
- Knako Ohagi – Japanese sweet made of bean jam wrapped with rice It is a unique Japanese sweet which accentuates the aroma of Kinako powder
Green Pumpkin also have 2 kinds of Tea Time Special only available between 230pm – 530pm daily. 🙂
Choices include :
- Matcha Cheese Cake $6 – which comes with green tea cheese cake with fruits served with red bean & vanilla ice cream
- Uguisu Kuzumochi $6 – home made gelatinous cakes made from kuzu and matcha, served with vanilla ice cream and soy bean powder
Both comes with choice of coffee or tea. 🙂
