HOKKAIDO FAIR 2012 AT TAKASHIMAYA SINGAPORE – ITS WINTER HOKKAIDO FAIR!

Hi there,

Takashimaya is hosting a Winter Hokkaido Fair at their Basement 2 for less than 2 weeks. Yes, its Winter Hokkaido Fair!

There will be demonstrations, fresh seafoods and products direct from Hokkaido. As it is the Winter Hokkaido Food Fair, I am seeing quite a few new products which you don’t see in other Hokkaido Fairs. 🙂

Even my husband who always comment about the food fairs in Singapore, said the food does look very tempting, and different from usual Hokkaido fair as well, he actually initiated us to go and check it out. Now that is something different. hee hee..

As it is starting from 29 Dec 2011 to 8 January 2012, I was rather undecide whether I should put this as 2011 or 2012 fair, but hey, let’s celebrate the end of this wonderful year and welcome a even more fabulous new year with a big bang at Hokkaido Fair!

You will get to check out an array of mouth watering desserts like Japanese Gelato, Cheese cake, pumpkin pudding, rare cheesecake, wasanbon swiss roll, raspberry roll cake, strawberry cream puff, omelette, wow, the list is long.

And if you are going for savories, you will definitely be not disappointed, there are mini scallop croquette, salmon cheese croquette, deep fried king crab claws, corn stick.

Grilled items like juicy scallop and squid and appetizing sides something exotic like herring roe can be found there too!

I am already so looking forward to their Omakase Seafood Sanshoku Bento. Basically you can choose 3 items out of choices of seafood toppings of Salmon, steamed sea urchin, salmon roe, boiled snow crab legs, snow crab flakes, flying fish roe, tuna, all packed nicely into a bento box for you to bring home, for $20/box (not sure how big the bento box will be thou)

There will also be Takeaway noodles so you can cook at home and also Quick & Easy Eat in Kiosk. 🙂
