IKEA SNACK ATTACK – IKEA VERY SWEDISH POTATO CHIPS

Hi there

Going to Ikea, I suppose you will just pop by to get one of the hot dogs, soft cone or at least have a very affordable and delicious meal there. But do you also pop by their mini mart to check out their food items? 🙂

So far I have tried out quite many items from biscuits, cookies, desserts, drinks and candies. And while I was paying for my purchase, I spotted they have a good clearance for their potato chips, at $5 for 3 pack, that is really some good offer which I can’t resist. 🙂

There are 2 flavous which is salt & sour cream. I got myself 2 pack of salt flavour and 1 pack of sour cream, and could not wait to see how this will turn out. 🙂

Texture wise, these looks and also taste like hand cut chips, very rustic kind, not the pretty ones that you find in Japanese chips. Do you see this brand of York Chips in supermarket that comes in a tin? this looks exactly like those.

Taste wise, the salted ones is really salty! I actually was drinking my water every biting into 3 pieces, haha… but this will definitely taste awesome with beer on another hand.

The sour cream flavour is very pungent, and also salty. Between the two, I prefer the sour cream ones, because it definitely has more depth, what’s more, these chips are not easy to polish off in one sitting, not that they are not nice, but because their flavour is so dense, just by eating a few, you will feel like you are quite satisfied with the flavour, that literally translate to better conversion to my waist line. hee hee…
