KIDS RECIPE IDEAS – CAR SHAPE RAISIN CHEESE TOAST

Hi There,

I have been experimenting different kids recipes since I have my son.  As a typical little boy, he loves his cars, and any food which I made with shape of a car or a ball, he will just love it. I came up with a very simple recipe idea where busy working mummies can use even on work day mornings, and would like to share it with you.

All you need are :
– cookies cutters, for me I use Daiso bento cutter, they are in fantastic shapes which you can use to make all sorts of cute or funky designs that will attract your little one’s attention.

– raisin, just a few, cut into halfs, or you can also use a whole piece on each small slices of bread
– cheese (I use Kraft for kids, suppose to be good for their teeth as it is less sugar content)
– jam or nutella (optional)

Directions :
1) Spread some jam or nutella on a slice of white bread

2) Use the cookies cutters to cut out different shapes, I use just a car shape cutter (as it saves me time from washing)

3) Place the cheese on top of the bread

4) Place the raisin on top of the cheese

5) Put into the oven, and have it on high heat for 2-3 mins

And its done! not only the kids will love it because of its shape, it also tasted great and nutritious as well, with cheese and raisin, it will definitely give your kids energy to jump start the day ^^

You can still use the cookie cutters to cut carrots or omelete for your kids meal too, of course cookies will definitely be another great thing you can do to bond with your kids. Hope you and your kids will have a blast doing this and tasting it.

So, Happy Cooking!
