Meidiya Supermarket at Liang Court will be having a Autumn Harvest Festival Food Fair from 20 – 30 Oct 2011.
You can get to enjoy fresh Japanese Fruits & Vegetables from Autumn’s Harvest. Autumn has always been my favourite season in Japan, is neither too hot nor cold, and is the best season to go travelling over there, may be to shop, to eat, is the best season. And over here in Meidiya, you can get to savor some of the best season produce without travelling all the way to Japan!
Autumn produce is one of the highlights of the fair, you can get to try out chestnuts, persimmons, seasonal vegetables, and at this fair, Meidiya has flown in all these produce direct from the farm.
At the food fair, you can also get New Cropped Rice at discounted rate. So are wagyu beef, they have daily special at 10% off different cuts, so you can get to savor wagyu beef with different cooking method like BBQ, hot pot or sukiyaki.
By the way, when you are down at Mediya, do check out their wide vareity of sushi & sashimi & also bento sets, I usually go for their freshly made sushi like the california roll & nigiri sets, along with some Japanese cup noodles.
