NISHIYAMA RAMEN – FRESH RAMEN AT YOUR OWN HOME

Each packet of these nishiyama ramen come in 2 portions, which is very filling, it can serve quite a large bowl.

I actually cooked 3 packets for 4 people, even the soup sachets as well.

Next I prepared some stir fry pork belly slices, instead of char siew, because all I want is a quick meal. Just fry some pork belly and drizzle a little soya sauce to flavour it up.

Next I poured 4 bowls of water into the pot and added the soup base to boil. You can flavour along the way to suit your taste, because sometimes these ramen soup can be really salty, so adjust to your own likings. 🙂

Next boil the ramen until al dente and then immediately washed under tap water to wash off excess starch and obtain that springy texture of ramen noodles.

Feel free to add any toppings you like, like stir fry veges, etc, for me is boiled eggs, preserved bamboo shoots, spring onions, kim chi.

Of course you can adjust the flavour or toppings like seafood too. As this is garlic soya sauce flavour, I preferred it to be with pork slices.
