OOTOYA ORCHARD CENTRAL – WITH FULL MENU LISTING

Hi there

I was joining my husband and my boy for dinner on a work day, and usually if it is dinner out with my son, I will usually pick Japanese or Chinese, so that he can have his full tummy with rice and dishes.

So without hesitation, we have decided to go to Ootoya Orchard Central for some dinner.

Ootoya Orchard Central reviews

I have done a reviews in the past, and I still remember my family was so excited because Ootoya served very authentic home cooked dishes.

Portion is always generous here, however lately for the last few times I have visited them, their quality to me was not the same as before. 🙁

It was still executed beautifully, but something just missed, it could be the rice, or just the flavour was not as captivating as before.

One thing though, I still enjoy their home made pickles, it always remind me of the times when I was working in a yakitori bar where we need to make our own pickles.

My husband still enjoys their potato salad.

And as usual, I will order their chicken and fish dishes, so that my son has a well balanced meal. 🙂

For their deep fried dishes, I think I will still prefer to go to Tonkichi which is at the same building.

It is actually a little puzzling, how all these beautifully crafted dishes taste different from before..

I have yet to try out their different variety of rice available, may be perhaps it is time for me to change my orders and see if the rice quality will be better.

However if you want to look for authentic japanese home cooked dishes, I still recommend you to go here or Yayoiken , both have the same family restaurant theme, but Ootoya will be slightly steeper in price.  If you want to check out the menu, I got it here. 🙂
