I got this Organix goodies Cocoa & Rasin Soft Oaty Bars the other day when I was in Cold Storage, as they were having a promotion, I got this one box to give my little boy a treat.
There were a couple of flavors, the other one that I saw was carrots, so I opted for the chocolate & raisin instead since both is my son’s favourite.
One box came in 6 bars of these cocoa & raisin bar of goodness. On the box it indicate there is “no junk promise”, which ensure you are giving the best to your little one.
Once the seal is opened, there is this dense raisin scent coming out from the packaging. I tried a bite and it is actually not bad, it is like regular cereal bar but less sweet. Each bar can be quite filling for the kids, so you might want to only give half a bar in each treats. The cocoa taste can be detected but I think the raisin was stronger than the cocoa which is just fine.
Although the bar is quite moist, after a few bites, it can get a bit dry. However given this is a much healthier treats than regular chocolate bars, I have not much qualsm about it. 🙂 What’s more the colorful packaging draws the little ones to them. The soft oats is fragrant and contrast well from the compressed raisin.
I have yet to try out the carrot flavor, wondering if it will taste anything like carrot cake thou but it can be a good source of vegetables if your little one is a fussy eater.
So try it out and give a change in your little treats for the little ones. 🙂
