YAYOIKEN JAPANESE RESTAURANT WHICH SERVES SERIOUSLY GOOD JAPANESE RICE

Hi there,

I was at Yayoiken Japanese Restaurant at Liang Court during Christmas long weekend, while doing my grocery shopping there.

This Japanese family restaurant although has opened not long ago, it has already gained quite a lot of fans because of the good food they serve and the good price it cost. So when I reached there, they are already getting quite a lot of diners. It is located just right at the front entrance of basement, opposite the Hokkaido satellite shop so you can say it is quite a good location.

Decor is what you will expect from a family restaurant, no frills, with cosy sitting arrangements, this restaurant can sit over 100 pax base on my diners count, and they have large booth seats at the back where it looks like tatami seatings, with slippers available too.

POPEYES LOUISIANA NEW FIRECRACKER BUTTERFLY SHRIMPS – AUSPICIOUS FAST FOOD ON THE GO?

I believe many of you already have tried out the succulent tender Popeyes chicken by now. I find their chicken less oily and also quantity is much larger compared to other fast food chicken places.

Now besides their usual chicken feast, they also have this Butterfly Shrimp. These shrimps are hand battered with Louisiana spices like Cayenne, Habanero, black & white peppers. Not only that, every pieces are sprinkled with red pepper flakes to give it that “firecracker” kick.

One of my most favourite part of Chinese New Year is Yu Sheng, and I am pretty sure many people will agree with me 🙂

So I chanced upon this Lobster Yu Sheng when I was looking for Reunion Dinner details, every year, there are many new flavours coming up, vegetarians, fruity ones, and the good old salmon Yu Sheng, its either the ingredients or the sauce that is a new concoction. But one fact never change, we diners are always looking for new creations to try on, since this is a once a year indulgence.

I am already looking forward as to what we will be expecting this coming Chinese New Year. 🙂
