POLLIWOGS AT ROBERTSON QUAY – CHILDREN INDOOR PLAYGROUND IS SO MUCH FUN!

I heard quite a bit about East Coast Polliwogs and my colleagues told me it was a pretty fun place for the kiddos. But as it is very far from my place, I have yet to visit there.

And when I found out they have opened a new outlet at Robertson Quay which is so much more convenient for me (North East line that is :)) I decided to bring my son to have a fun weekend morning there.

 

It is located at Roberston Quay, so if you are going by train, best bet is to take the train to Clarke Quay and walk there, well about 10 – 15 mins walk, but if you are taking a bus there will be a stop at UE Square and all you need to do is go through UE square to reach there.

 

Settling in this quiet neighbourhood, this hidden Kids wonderland is not very easy to spot and I was quite skeptical as to how big the place can be if it is located on the second floor of the building.

But I must say what happened next was a delightful surprise to me and my boy. 🙂

Similar to other indoor playground, you will require to take your shoes off and also require a pair of socks for every individual.

Admission fees for

Weekdays- unlimited Play

• Children Aged 2 to 12 per entry – $20
• Children below age 2 per entry – $13

School Holidays / Public Holidays

• Children Aged 2 to 12 per entry  – $25 for first 2 hours
• Children Below Age 2 per entry – $13 for first 2 hours

* All prices are inclusive of GST and also inclusive of entrance of 2 accompanying adults per paying child.

Other charges include

Weekends – Additional play time (per half hour or part thereof)

• For Children aged 2 to 12 – $5
• For Children below age 2 – $5
• Each Additional Adult – $5
• Socks – $3.50
• Sanitation Surcharge – $30 (if your kid soil the place that is..)

 

We are also given a card to show that we are paying customers as well which need to be returned upon “check out”. 🙂

My son was all excited putting the wrist band on, I think it reminded him of the POLW at Sentosa. 🙂

 

Inside you can find giant slide, okay I am seriously afraid of heights, so to me it is really high! but that mean only one thing, my son has some crazy fun there, everything is cushioned so it gave me a peace of mind.

 

Everything is so colorful and new, and I must say I really didn’t expect the place to be sooo huge! There were so many activities which really test the kids skill and I am sure they will have so much fun hopping, jumping, clawling and rollin in there, haha…

But as boys will always be boys, my son love this air gun area, there are a few air guns for the kids to play, and all they need is to go down to the ground floor to pick up all the sponge balls, and filled up the air guns to have a whole lot of fun, I must say, I did have a lot of fun there too. hee hee..

The place is very well ventilated, and you won’t get sweaty or too cold in there.

 

They also have a separate toddlers area for the younger kiddos, there are all sort of games, like matching games, piano, mini slide, a smaller version of the colorful ball pool, and even a castle for the little girls too!

And if you & the kiddo are hungry, you can head over to the canteen to get some fast food. When I was there I saw many parents with one parent just sitting there enjoying their drinks or snacks while surfing ipad, haha..

Oh if you do not want to worry about your belongings, they also have locker as well. 🙂

 

They also host birthday parties, and they have a dedicated room for it, where they can arrange food there too. 🙂 Love all the colorful decorations.

Just to show you how they can squeeze through 2 floors, they literally build their way to the ceiling to fully utilize their space there. 🙂

And I have no idea how my son knows, but once he saw this mini rock climbing wall, he just whipped out his spider man pose and start climbing up.

Polliwogs in Robertson Quay is definitely a good place if you want your kids to have a whole lot of fun and perhaps to tired them out so that they can have a peaceful sleep night ahead. haha.. At first I thought the price is a little steep but after seeing how much fun my son have especially the look he has while playing the air gun, I think this price is really worth it.

I personally feel 2 hours is really enough for me and my son, and if you do not feel like dining there, you can always extend your outing by exploring all the great food places at Robertson Quay. 🙂
