Was a Prive at Keppel Bay for a weekend brunch with another mummy and her boy after watching The Three Little Pigs, and our famish bunch decided to go there. I was so surprise there is this really nice place where you can enjoy a nice all day breakfast in Singapore. 🙂
It can be a little inconvenient to come to Prive, but if you are not driving, take the train to either Telok Blangah or Harbour Front and then take a cab into Keppel Bay. It is not really far from there.
Once you reach Prive at Keppel Bay, you will be delighted to see lots of yachts parking quietly along the bayfront. A very peaceful quiet place, with a well mix of both western diners and local diners. A good start. 🙂
Prive is a cafe which have around 150 seatings, they serve all day breakfast, fresh salads, savory soups, and many hearty delicious mains.
You can choose to sit inside or go al fresco. If you decide to dine al fresco, your little ones can actually play at the little play house there and enjoy themselves while you tuck in their gorgeous looking food.
As our aim was to try out their All Day Breakfast menu, we decided to order a Ultimate Breakfast ($20), Eggs Benedict ($16), Pancakes Kids Meal ($9.50) & also a Fish & Chips Kids Meal. ($11.50)
Pair our breakfast with Ice Passionfruit Tea & also Earl Grey French TWG tea – blissful sunday hands down.
The eggs benedict has this toasted traditional english muffin, with some juicy smoked leg ham & streaky bacon, covered with a gently pached eggs & generous drizzle of creamy Hollandaise sauce. Pair it with rockets, I know I am in for a great brunch.
They actually have a kids menu that is dedicated to the little ones. 🙂

The Fish & Chips Kids Meal come in a really generous portion, I would say even a adult will find it filling, the fish was very fresh and the batter was soooo crunchy. The french fries was fluffy on the inside with a perfectly fried crisp exterior, dipped into the cold tartar sauce & ketchup – I am hooked.
Next come the kids meal too and it is the pancakes, it comes with freshly whipped cream, maple syrup and also 2 pieces of fluffy hotcakes with fruits and chocolate sauce drizzle all over it. If only the pancakes was thicker then it will be really great. The fresh cream was really light and my son thought it is actually some kind of ice cream. 🙂
Ah, Ultimate Brekkie comes with 2 eggs (your choice any style), English breakfast pork sausage, maple roasted bacon, roasted Roma tomato, sauteed button mushrooms, crispy hashbrown & wholemeal toast. The portion is really big!
Taste wise, it is great and the plating is really nice too. A scrumptious brunch indeed. Make me want to go home to replicate another ultimate breakfast at home. 🙂
The kids meal also comes with a dessert, which is a cup ice cream.
The ice cream was a little melty when it was served, if it was icy frozen cold, it will be a perfect end to our scrumptious brunch.
You can see diners leisurely tucking into their food, and just gazed at the yachts and having nice chats.
Although it is al fresco, it is not hot at all because of all the strategically placed fan, perfect for a sunny weekend.
