Hi Yvonne
With the candle below, it actually stay velvety smooth for quite sometime. It won’t harden but can be slight pasty if you do not use the candle. However this recipe didn’t use pure chocolate alone for the base, you can actually adjust its consistency, if you don’t plan to use fondue set or candle, then just add a little more cream and it should remain smooth even if it is left cold 🙂
