Japanese food has many amazing appetizers and some are so easy to make that you can end up like me, making it over and over again, with sometimes not even a main dish to boot and I am all satisfied. 🙂

This is really simple, just added chopped octopus sashimi pieces, add some cucumber cubes and drizzle with some sesame dressing, you have an appetizers and salad in minutes. You can also use vinegar and sugar as well to make a sourish appetizers called Takosu

I told you I love sesame and pairing it with fresh chilled tomatoes and shiso leaves, it is just fantastic and great for diet too!

To me, I like ume sour plum dressing or just eating sour plum, so I like to add a lot of cucumbers with some sashimi together to do up a quick appetizer that is both healthy and yummy.

You can see all of my appetizers recipes have spring onions, I use it because it always give a really refreshing taste to the dishes, and if it is paired with some fried food or grilled meat, it serve as a really good dish to clear my palate for something amazing to come. 🙂
