Lately I have been visiting Ricotti a couple of times, because there is one thing which I absolutely adores, the lemon meringue pie!
However, there are also many other dishes which draws me back to them. 🙂
So the whole family of 5 of us decided to drop by one evening to check out the grilled chicken with vegetables, come in a good portion to be shared among the members, but I personally feel that the chicken was a tad dry to my likings.
Their calamari and appetizer fare better, with a really nice tomato dipping sauce to go with it, tangy and refreshing against the crispy hot calamari.
My favourite cooked dish will be definitely the mussels cooked in wine sauce and dipped the sauce with the toasted baguetter with it, heaven.
Another notable dish is the wood fire pizza, again great for sharing and the dough was not too thin nor thick, good texture. A bite more generous with the rockett greens will be great. 🙂
Another of our favorite dish is the crab meat pasta in tomato sauce, big chunks of crab meat and it is so favourful, absolutely love it.
And if you are Ricotti, you must definitely try out their dessert, it will be impossible not to.
The lemon meringue pie, one of the best I have tried, just perfect combination of sweetness and tangy, we wipe the dish clean – seriously.
We actually ordered nearly every cakes show case there, since we somehow feel like something sweet to end the night, but one of the dessert we recommend is their pistachio gelato. Simple yet so nicely done.
And who could resist the chocolate lava cake. We even added one cookie and cream ice cream to it. My son has nothing to complain, haha…
The ambience at the Ricotti at Riverwalk is great, not as crowed as other outlet, and if you have friends with you, enjoy over a bottle of wine and chit chat through the night under the moon and next to the river. How nice~
