Hi there
When it comes to Shiseido, people instantly think about cosmetics, but do you know they are really famous for their cafe and also sweets like cheesecake?
At the flag ship Shiseido shop in Ginza japan, you will be able to experience the “edible” side of Shiseido.
I didn’t manage to dine there because the reservation was full, so I could only check out the sweets shop they have and to be honest, they all look really exquisite and gorgeous!
So you see, reservation is strongly recommended if you really want to try out their famous desserts.
Now back to the cheesecakes which I got, I managed to get a small box that come in 3 pieces, wrapped so beautifully in a chic blue box with blue ribbons.
And just like any other Japanese sweets, they are nicely wrapped individually.
The flavours of these cheesecake has this lemony rich flavour, great pairing with some Earl Grey tea indeed. It is made of Denmark cream cheese with Japanese sour cream, and they also recommend to pair it with wine too, I should have gotten myself some dessert wine 🙂
If only I could really try the original cheesecake, I really need to remind myself to make a reservation next time I am in Japan.
SHISEIDO CHEESE CAKE? YEAH YOU HEAR ME RIGHT AND IS REALLY GOOD TOO
