SIMPLE AND QUICK BAK KWA RECIPES – BAK KWA FROM CHINESE NEW YEAR FUSHION IDEAS

Feeling stuffed from all the post Chinese New Year’s binging? But still cannot finish that big pack of Bak Kwa which your friends and relatives bought for you?

I have just the right simple and quick recipe for you, to clear all your old stock away. 🙂

Okay, what you will need is simple.

  • Garlic (5 cloves)
  • Spring Onions (4 stalks)
  • Corriander (1 bunch)
  • Vermicelli (spaghetti can be used too, but I prefer vermicelli) (1 pack)
  • Bak Kwa (whatever left)
  • Chillis (tonnes! haha..)
  • Maggi Sauce (up to your likings)
  • Pepper (up to your likings)
  • Japanese or Chinese cooking wine (2 tspoon)

The best part of this dish, is there is no measurements to the ingredients! Yup, because it really all depends how much flavouring you want to add in.

Actually I have a reference quick and simple Maggi spaghetti recipe you can refer to too. I used prawns instead of Bak Kwa, but more all less the same.

However, if you want to know estimate guide you can check out above numbers next to the ingredients. 🙂

Directions :

1) Chopped up all ingredients and heat oil & a little butter and fry garlics / bak kwa & chillis

2) Add in spaghetti and drizzle in maggi sauce / pepper and cooking wine, then sprinkle in all the chopped corriander and spring onions

3) Fry a little while and Tuck in! so this is simple or what? 🙂

I cook this in less than 20 mins, and can feed a whole family plus managed to keep some for the next day.
