SNACK ATTACK PART 5 – HOKKAIDO POTATO & KONBU SEAWEED CHIPS – SO GOOD I THOUGHT I AM IN HOKKAIDO

Hi there

Saw this really adorable potato chips at Liang Court the other day, they were doing clearance sale and I managed to get it at half the price. 🙂

Hokkaido Potato & Konbu Chips

What attracted me was the name actually, it is called “Imo Ko and Kombu Taro”, which loosely translated as little potato and little kombu, funny names but to have a combination of both potato chips and kombu chips, is not very common. You can probably find it separately, but getting this is like hitting 2 birds with one stone. hee hee..

Hokkaido Potato & Konbu Chips

These Hokkaido Potato & Kombu Chips come with individual packets too, so you won’t be running into trouble to finish off all in one seating. 🙂

Each box comes in 4 individual packet, sitting nicely together. 🙂

Actually each individual packet consists with just about one handful of chips, but it does pack a punch and very big in flavour. It has quite a salty flavour to it, which really goes oh so well with soda, yeah I know it sounds bad, but really, this is really good!

The potato chips are really crunchy, gives a very very good bite and the kombu chips is also fried till so crispy, the kombu chips leave a after kinda slimy texture because of the natural essence of seaweed, but definitely in a good way.

Even my son keep asking me to open one packet to share with him, this is how good these chips are. 🙂
