Sushi Tei like other Japanese restaurants is also celebrating October with their Autumn new menu. As Autumn is one of the best season to enjoy Japanese local delights, you will get to try out the wide variety of seasonal produce & ingredients.
This Autumn menu offers the usual quality creations, from appetizer to desserts.
As Autumn season is a prelude to winter, you will find dishes that is not so heavy but warms your tummy. They have the autumn-must-try oyster & matsutake mushroom, which is done up in various way, like deep fried oyster pieces in egg stew, rice bowl, and even handroll sushi! That I have not yet tried yet, may be I will try it out, a rather odd combination, but may works if the coating of the oyster is crunchy enough to balance off the chewy japanese rice.
And for the ladies out there, they have collagen hot pot, which you can DIY to have it with rice and congee style or with udon. A satisfying ending to a wonderful dinner!
Of course having to say that, they also have other creations of sushi and the sashimi, so check out their autumn menu and try it out before it is gone.
