I still remembered I brought my family to Japan a few years back and we were checking out all the outlet malls to find some big ticket discounted items, but the most happy part for me was browsing their household & kitchen items in their colorful stalls, literally you can spend ages in there.<\/p>\n
And then that “love at first sight” moment was there. The Standing Rice Scoop that shape like a fish and is pink!!\u00a0At\u00a0\u00a0500Yen\u00a0\ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n I don’t know about how other families work, but I have this pet peeves, or rather the whole family, we will picker over the rice scoop because it is usually covered in rice, and every time we do not know whether we want to place it on a plate, or slot it in the plastic hook.<\/p>\n But seriously it doesn’t make sense to me, all these end up more washing! So it was really a godsend when I saw this! What a genius idea, standing rice scoop, hassle free cleaning, and you can place it any where! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After I was back in Singapore, I have been happily using it for the next 2 years, but as of any wear & tear, I needed to get it, and I always forget to ask my friends who will come to singapore on holidays to get for me.<\/p>\n But, when I was browsing at Franc Franc JCube, I finally found it! It comes in cool black and also pure white.<\/p>\n I bought one for my sister and regretted for not getting another one for myself, so when I visited Franc Franc Vivo, they told me it is only available at JCube… oh oh..<\/p>\n Anyway if\u00a0you think $8 is steep, you can also opt for Daiso, yes yes yes! I found it at Daiso, how can I forget this place practically have everything Japanese you need. So far I saw two design, one is a regular shape but equip with a broader base and another one is in yellow and white, a cuter version too.<\/p>\n But honestly, I do prefer the Franc Franc one, because the base is much heavier, not just because it won an award, but the design is probably one of the most solid ones I have seen. The base is even firmer than the Pink Fish Rice Scoop I bought.<\/p>\n Hmm..
