Hi there

After buying a Angry Bird cup for my 3 year old son, my son has been all excited whenever he sees any angry bird pictures in the stores. So when I propose the idea of making angry bird pizza in return for his promise to keep his toys nice and neat, like most kids I guess, in no time zoom through the sitting room and start picking up toys, yeah that’s the power of angry bird, hahahaa….

But little did he know, I have a little mission in mind. To test his palate on corn, he use to like corn when he was much younger, but for some reason, he changed his palate and didn’t like eating it. So I am testing this kids cooking theory again and see if it works on him. 😀

So I have made couple of pizza, both with tomato base, but one covered with spinach and the other one is just plain tomato.

Managed to finish up the remaining half pack of Betty Crocker Pizza Crust after making the Banana Choco Pizza.

Ingredients needed :

For the spinach, I did not cook it but rather I just dunk into some hot water for 2 secs, then place in cold water to cool it down, this is for easier layering on the pizza base.

Directions

Take a scoop and place on a baking sheet, then flatten it.

I helped my son to form the shape and “pinched” all the corners.

Now let’s start with green angry bird.:)

The color will slightly changed as the water from the spinach may have evaoprated, but it is still good to eat. You can also add cheese right after the tomato paste, if you want it to be cheesy too. 🙂

Now comes the Red Angry Bird Pizza. Similar to the Green Angry Bird.

I use the remaining carrots and corn to just decorate the plate, my son was all jumping with joy when he sees this.

As to the taste test, well he did eat a few corn, which is a step forward and I guess it is a success to make him start eating corn again, guess this mummy will just have to think of more creative cooking ways for him. One thing for sure, when I told him about angry bird pizza, he will automatically go and keep his toys neatly as he is looking foward to another pizza making session. 😀

QUICK & SIMPLE KIDS RECIPES – ANGRY BIRD PIZZA TO ENTICE VEGES EATING IN CHILDREN

Happy Cooking & Family Bonding!

For latest news on restaurants, supermarkets, food fairs, or simply check out some of my simple recipe ideas & reviews, please visit us at singaporesupermarketrecipes.com or subscribe to our mailing list for more details.

Cheers,

Dawn

Hi there After buying a Angry Bird cup for my 3 year old son, my son has been all excited whenever he sees any angry bird pictures in the stores.
