Hi there

My next green tea hunt brought me to Tanjong Pagar, actually this place was strongly recommended by my husband who accidentally found this gorgeous little green tea cafe. 🙂

This place is actually founded by Riemon Tsujiri, a veteran in the Japan’s tea industry and this tea house from Kyoto boost a legacy of 152 years old too!

The corner cafe can sit around 20 pax, and I personally think that if the place is a actually quite tight, because between tables, you don’t exactly has your own personal space, and you can definitely hear what the people in the next table is talking, which is not that relaxing.

However, all is compensated by how good their beverages are! 🙂

Their menu is simple, concentrating in their strength. A good mix of desserts and drinks, but no food to be seen like Nana green tea or Maccha House.

They do have a bar counter where you can sit by yourself and can check out the packaged tea for sale there too.

They sell Green tea powder, rice flavoured green tea and also omaccha powder as well price range from $15 – $60.

Once you place your order, the staff will swiftly prepared your drink, I spotted 2 local staff and also a Japaneses staff as well. And when your drinks are ready, it is self service, so just collect it at the counter. 🙂

O maccha milk ice blend is definitely top of the list, I do not like milky drink – period. But I still fell in love with this, that tells you just how good it is. 🙂 Couple’s favourite for my husband and me. 🙂

And how can I leave the place without sampling its ice cream, especially with my son in tow. haha..

We ordered the Anmitsu Parfait for my son (and us too 🙂 ) I am okay with the dessert actually, because I think they are a little heavy on the red bean paste which kind of dilute the green tea flavour. However the jelly at the bottom of the cup was really nice, blend really well with the rest of the ingredients.

Since we ordered one milky drink, we ordered another Ommacha with Yuzu Citron. Something refreshing that’s it. Took them a while to fix this, probably because they need to fill it in layers.

First taste it was more of concentrated Maccha flavours, but if you mix it a bit, the refreshing citron flavour just infused the whole drink and although it is a cold drink, somehow the citron flavour gave it some warmth in every sip, because the citron flavour reminds me of those warm Korean citron tea. Well, probably they are indeed using it, but it taste pretty nice, so I am totally ok with it.

If you are like me, has been bitten by the green tea bug lately, do remember to check out Tsujiri, I am sure you will enjoy it just like I did. 🙂

For those who want to know their menu, they are here 🙂

Overall, I think they serve the best quality drinks, among Nana green tea and Maccha House, the beverages taste the best, to bad is the constrain of the size of the cafe, hopefully one day they will consider expanding it, but for now, taking away these lovely green tea is definitely one of life simple pleasures. 🙂

O-MACCHA SELECTION

SPECIAL DRINK SELECTION

TEA SELECTION

LATTE SELECTION

SOFT ICE CREAM & PARFAIT SELECTION

SHAVED ICE SELECTION

SWEET SELECTION

HOME PRODUCT SELECTION

CAFE REVIEWS : GREEN TEA CRAZE PART III – TSUJIRI GREEN TEA AT 100AM TANJONG PAGAR WITH 152 YEARS HISTORY

Location : #01-14 100 AM, 100 Tras St.

Tel : 65436110

For latest news on restaurants, supermarkets, food fairs, or simply check out some of my simple recipe ideas & reviews, please visit us at singaporesupermarketrecipes.com or subscribe to our mailing list for more details.

Cheers,

Dawn

Hi there My next green tea hunt brought me to Tanjong Pagar, actually this place was strongly recommended by my husband who accidentally found this gorgeous little green tea cafe. 🙂 This place is actually founded by Riemon Tsujiri, a veteran in the Japan’s tea industry and this tea house from Kyoto boost a legacy … Continue reading GREEN TEA CRAZE PART III – TSUJIRI GREEN TEA AT 100AM TANJONG PAGAR WITH 152 YEARS HISTORY

[577,554,68
4891,4892,4890,4888,4887,4889,4893
