I have always been a fan of Genki Sushi, not only because their speedy delivery of fresh sushi on the cute little trains, cars rather than conveyor belt, but I geniuely like the no fuss way of ordering your sushi and also how fun it is to order from them.<\/p>\n

And once I know Genki Sushi at Chinatown Point has opened, I immediately made my way there with my husband and son.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

But what I didn’t expect this outlet is how different they are from their outlet at Orchard Central<\/a> \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

All right to start off with the difference, they use Ipad Mini here, which is so much way convenient and does not take up much space on the table,<\/p>\n

They have a slight difference in the menu too, which I enjoyed thoroughly.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Like flukes, which goes with some really mean teriyaki sauce, yumm….<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

My favourite swordfish is as fresh ever \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

New menu include kids menu like this sausage sushi, I know I know, not very sushi like, but my son insist so I gave in – my down fall\u00a0hahaa…<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

They also have this takeaway kiosk area where you can place your order through the Ipad Minis that got hooked up on the wall,<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

But what my son loves was playing the genki sushi lottery, how it works is that once you have finished 8 plates of sushi, keep all the plates, \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Then drop them into this slot where they take in all the plates, this is just soooo efficient, and so productive!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

After you have slotted in all the 8 plates, you will then see the Ipad Mini sparkling next to you asking you to play the Genki sushi lottery. If you get all 3 logos the same, you will get a free gift.<\/p>\n

With my family we managed to clock in 2 games which my son absolutely love it, and of course every cubicle with kids around, you can see them all facinated by how the speedy trains zoomed by with sushi on it. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Thinking a look of the new menu, they have interesting flavours like grilled corn sushi too. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Honestly I think I like the Chinatown point more because of how they use Ipad Mini and also thoughout the meal, you will get a new surprise or two, the waitress there are super nice too. One of them actually gave my son a piece of seaweed after she over heard my son that he want and took a bite of my husband’s temaki.<\/p>\n

So sweet of the staff.<\/p>\n

Guess I just got a new hangout during the weekends when I have cravings of sushi.\u00a0\ud83d\ude42 Of course my son will fully support the idea of us going back to them too. Let’s\u00a0just hope we have better luck in the genki sushi lottery next time. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
