Given the recent haze situation in Singapore, my home has been boiling various refreshing drinks to combat the haze, and one of our favorite is the boiled chinese pear with some chinese herb.<\/p>\n

Preparing is very easy, basically you only need to wash the ingredients and bring to a boil for about 2 hours to soak up all the essence.<\/p>\n

Ingredients you will need :<\/p>\n

• Chinese Pear (take out the seeds but not the skin, the skin must remain, and remember only Chinese pear can be used in this recipe)<\/li>\n
• Apricot Kernels<\/li>\n
• Honey Dates<\/li>\n
• Dried Chinese Figs (Wu Hao Guo)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  After the pear drink has been boiled, you can drink warm, or chill in the fridge for a refreshing drink. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

  My son loves it because it is sweet and of course so do the adults too.<\/p>\n
