My mum loves jam and I usually will make some home made jam once or twice a year together with some cheesecake.<\/p>\n

When we go travelling, we will also head up the local supermarkets and see what kind of jams it is available.<\/p>\n

This TeHoro Jam which is from NZ comes in a big tub that kind looks more like cooking sauce than jam. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It has a more gelatin form rather than the syrupy ones which I prefer, but nevertheless I did find an alternate way to use this. As I like jam with fruits bits in it, this jam become a great companion when I use for cooking.<\/p>\n

I used this to cook Japanese curry, marinates meats and glazing, which turned out amazing.<\/p>\n

I also have these jam to be at my side when I cooked beer can chicken<\/a> , after the chicken is done, I just use this jam as a dipping sauce, better than honey glazed. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Next in line, I am just going to use the blackcurrant flavor to make some desserts. Hee hee..<\/p>\n
