You know how we all love wasabi, it is impossible for me to have my sushi and sashimi without it, and of course during steamboat, I will also add a wasabi dipping sauce to pair with some seafood.<\/p>\n

I got hold of these fresh wasabi, and it is my first time to actually grate it and try it out. I have been hearing all the raving about the fresh wasabi and finally got to give it a try! Yeah!<\/p>\n

Grating it is easy, you can use your regular grater in circular motions to grate out the fresh wasabi, instantly you can smell the fresh wasabi and it is just a little pungent, which is quite unexpected. \ud83d\ude42 Of course if you have the special wasabi grater it will be even better.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Flavor wise, it is so much milder than the tube or bottle ones, a very natural taste which is quite addictive. If you like pungent airways clearing flavors, you can still go for the tube, but if I really have access to these fresh wasabi more often, I will definitely go for it. It compliments the sashimi so well and you can really taste the wasabi. Love it.<\/p>\n
