My precious 5 years old son called for a yakitori party and looks like mummy dearest is going to make it happen with the help of her beloved Happy Call Pan. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Yup, that simple, just a happy call pan and skweres of meat and veges, and there you go, a mini yakitori party. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I prepared a varieties of skewers of :<\/p>\n

\n
• Pork Belly<\/li>\n
• Chicken Thigh with Spring Onions<\/li>\n
• Prawns<\/li>\n
• Chicken Liver<\/li>\n
• Egg Plants<\/li>\n
• Mushrooms<\/li>\n
• Yellow & Red Pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  One of my most favorite yakitori is prawns wrapped in pork belly with mustard mayo, juicy prawns that is pre-soaked in white wine, love it, it taste and smell so amazing even when you were\u00a0\u00a0cooking it. White wine works wonder. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  I got myself a small bottle of yakitori sauce so that I do not need to make from scratch and get the mini yakitori party going in a very short time.<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  As you can see, you only need to prepare the skewers and cook inside the happy call pan individually, there you go grease free and hassle free. Love it.<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  The happy call pan will first steam cook the skewers about once the liquid evaporates inside the pan, you will start to get that grill like caramelized coating on the meat and veges.<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  This is how it looks like every few minutes during the cooking process.<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  And lastly just drizzle\u00a0some of the yakitori or coat it with a brush, and you are good to go!<\/p>\n

  The yakitori looks like just from the grill right? Best part, you can cook this without oil too, just like how yakitori is. But I did use avocado oil with garlic flavor to add more flavor, you can see this in my other post. \ud83d\ude42 because I make asparagus with pork too.<\/p>\n

  And that goes the same to pork belly..<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  And after that, the really crunchy pork belly, just add a little salt and squeeze a little lemon before serve, need not to add yakitori sauce if you want various flavors to it, if you have some japanese plum sauce, use it, it will taste awesome!<\/p>\n

  I started to really like chicken liver yakitori lately, and serve it with yellow mustard, cooking it is simple and it is so cheap too! Less than $2 and you get two huge pieces of it, just soak it in water for half an hour or milk if you may (if you do not like the liver taste), and then skewered it up. Easy.<\/p>\n

  And my favourite, prawns wrapped in pork belly, this goes oh so well with a glass of ice cold beer, love it love it love it…<\/p>\n

  Happy Call pan is till one of my most trusted cooking buddies when I need to make something last min and even a mini yakitori party doesn’t defeat it, hahaa….<\/p>\n
