I was stuck with ideas for a weekend lunch for my son recently but knowing he loves his cheese and eggs, I was pondering what to make for him. Light bulb moment then strike and I remembered I go this really cool sandwich cutter from Daiso.<\/p>\n

This Daiso gadget actually is more like for bento lunch boxes, but the box called it sandwich cutter which is just fine by me. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

It comes in two shapes actually one is pink cutter with animals shape and another blue one is shapes of\u00a0automobile & ship. As I got the blue one for my friend, I decided to go with the animal shape that time.<\/p>\n

It is good to use because you will just need to press the mould once and you can get 4 animals shapes out of it. Easy Peasy. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

This is a very easy recipe and you can encourage your child to help you, they will have lots of fun just like how my son did and also enjoyed the sandwich as they made it themselves.<\/p>\n

Ingredients you will need :<\/p>\n

• Egg x 1<\/li>\n
• Cheese x 1 slice<\/li>\n
• White bread x 2 slices<\/li>\n
• Ketchup or any sauce which is used for drawing faces on the animal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Directions :<\/p>\n

  1. Whisk egg and pan fried on a non stick pan (you can drip couple drops of soya sauce to season it)<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  2. Place the cheese on the bread & the omelette over it, better to do it while the egg omelette is warm so that the cheese can be melted with the residual heat from the omelette.<\/p>\n

  3.\u00a0 Press the cutter over the sandwich and give it a strong push (and perhaps wiggle the mould a little)<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

  4. The shapes will come out nicely in 4 pieces<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  5. Now you will need to decorate the sandwich to make it more fun for your kids to try.<\/p>\n

  <\/a><\/p>\n

  6. You can use my way by using the syringe that you get from clinics when your kids go to see doctor, or you can also buy the pencil from Daiso, where you just need to pump in the sauces<\/p>\n

  <\/p>\n

  7. Start doddling on the sandwich and let your inner child shine \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

  One tip for you is that you can also bake the sandwich before you draw on it, if your kids prefer toasted once. You can also put ham and cheese rather than omelette and cheese.<\/p>\n

  As this is a bento cutter, just use this on any other food like ham or even lasagne, the rim is quite thick so you shouldn’t have any problem shaping that pasta you have too. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
