Hi there

My family especially my husband is a fan for buffalo wings and we will frequent Hooters which we reckon serve one of the best 911 wings in Singapore. 🙂

And I have always wanted to try cooking this because I figure out it is practically fried chicken wings with some really good buffalo wings sauces.

So while over the weekend walking around cold storage to get some inspiration on my weekend dinner, I found this attractive looking Budweiser bottle, yup Budweiser as is the beer brand and they carry sauces too! Cool! The bottle indicate it as Wing Sauce which is mild & Tangy, so I thought I will give it a try to spice up my weekend dinner. 🙂

Moreover as I wanted to spend very little time on my preparation for the dinner, so I decided to give this a try. 🙂

Things to Prepare :

Directions :

1 ) Pat the wings dry with paper towel, if it is frozen, thaw and then pat dry

2) Coat the wings with corn flour, this procedure is to make the wings more crispy later on as the corn flour will dry out any excess moisture on the wings

3) Coat the wings with self raising flour, this is to add in more crispiness

4) Slowly drop the wings into the hot oil (medium heat) and deep fry till golden brown

5) After frying, put the wings into a large bowl and drizzle the wings sauce over it. Just 1/4 – 1/2 of a bottle will do because the taste is very concentrated.

6) Mix the wings, you can use chop stick to mix it around or just shake the bowl like what I did

7) Let the essence of the sauce absorbed into the wings for about 2 mins and serve piping hot. 🙂

Tastewise, this sauce is really good! It makes the wings really flavourful and paired up with the crispiness of the wings, perfect match. The sauce is exactly as what they put Mild & Tangy. The Tangy part stood out the most, actually just one whiff and you will be choked with the tanginess of the sauce. My husband said he can find hint of alcohol smell if you dip the sauce before eating and that’s probably where the sharpness of the sauce is, but to me it taste quite different.

I tried both drizzle and also dipping the sauce before eating. I much prefer the drizzle one, because the taste is not as sharp and because you let the wings sit for 2 mins, the taste will slowly mellow down and infused into the wings.

Now all I need is to make this a bucket of buffalo wings , gather some friends and also cans of budweiser beer and it will be a merry time. But for now, it made one of the perfect quick weekend dinner, just add a side salad and goes with either mash potatoes or garlic bread or rice or even a small pasta. 🙂

QUICK & SIMPLE RECIPES : BUDWEISER BUFFALO WINGS

Products Reviews : Budweiser wing sauce

Available : Cold Storage

Price : $8.95

Happy Cooking!

For latest news on restaurants, supermarkets, food fairs, or simply check out some of my simple recipe ideas & reviews, please visit us at singaporesupermarketrecipes.com or subscribe to our mailing list for more details.

Cheers,

Dawn

Hi there My family especially my husband is a fan for buffalo wings and we will frequent Hooters which we reckon serve one of the best 911 wings in Singapore. 🙂 And I have always wanted to try cooking this because I figure out it is practically fried chicken wings with some really good buffalo … Continue reading QUICK & SIMPLE RECIPES – BUDWEISER BUFFALO WINGS, NOW I CAN REALLY FLY

[11,126,141
3157,3162,332,3159,3161,3158,3160
