I was at Greenwich\u00a0V\u00a0for breakfast with my family, and after breakfast, I just walked around for some snacks to be enjoyed on a lazy sunday afternoon. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

And you will probably be drawn to Chinta Manis Peranakan because of the nice decorations and also tonnes of goodies showcasing at the shop front.<\/p>\n

The first thing I notice is the bite size portions that they offer, smaller chunks and pieces but pricing wise, it is still comparable to bengawan solo.<\/p>\n

They also have many interesting looking hampers with a variety of cookies in it. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

I have yet to try out their cookies, but if you are not looking into hamper, they have small packets of cookies too.<\/p>\n

Kueh Lapis a must try over there. Although they might not be the tastiest Kueh Lapis you have tried, but they do have quite a good variety of flavours to try.<\/p>\n

Whenever i go there, I will buy this cute little cup filled with cube size kueh lapis, actually we always think it is probably from the balance pieces.<\/p>\n

But the cup is so cute and also they have various flavour in a $2.80 cup, my son love it, as it is all precut bite size.<\/p>\n

As you can see quite a good spread of nonya kueh, some interesting flavour, like kueh with chendol flavours, you can still find the exact same ingredients in it, except the ice it is.<\/p>\n

You won’t have difficulty locating this place, as it is just next to toast box which is right at the ground floor entrance. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Steady stream of customers when ever I go there, although the taste is really just okay for me, nevertheless, it is also good to try something new besides my favourite bengawan solo.<\/p>\n

I think their design is much more chic and the color are all very nicely done. Good contrast of bold colors that instantly perk up a dark store.<\/p>\n

See, that’s what I mean, the kueh lapis cup very cute right? It gives me an instant wedding favors or party favors idea. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The kueh as you can see comes in squarish shape, just like those mini desserts at hotel buffets.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

I tried qute a few flavours, but find the flavours is a little mild. But I do like how they size it so you can order a good variety.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

You sure can swiftly polish them all in a seating, and also they are pretty clever in their packaging, you know how if you go to bengawan solo or other shops that sell kueh, they use plastic bags, or just a one size fit all plastic box. Here at Chinta Manis, they actually designed these plastic boxes to keep the kueh sitting comfortably separated from each other, nothing will be squashed ever. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Actually every kueh was done perfectly, but it is just the flavour wasn’t strong enough, like how this piece where the coconut was too dried so it is kind of the good to look at, but really mediocre when it comes to the taste, what a pity.<\/p>\n

However if you are at Greenwich, you can still try it if you are done with the Cold Stone creamery ice cream and other sweets stuff at this shopping mall. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
