Hi there

I have heard quite a lot of Ruyi that they serve some pretty good food at affordable price, so I was quite suprise that I found one outlet at Resort World Sentosa. 🙂

Dropped by to take a quick lunch and I must say, I was pleasantly suprise to find some really good dishes over there.

It is just located at the main entrance of the Casino and just across Breadtalk, so you won’t miss it.

It is one of the few shops which open 24 hours daily, which means all guests and diners will definitely have a place to eat no matter what hour it is.

There are both table and counter seatings, I guess the place can sit about 50 pax. And everytime I passed by, I can see a steady stream of diners in there.

I like how the place is very fast food like, just order over the counter, get your food and go, no frills, that’s probably why it is affordable.

I tried their BBQ Pork and Shrimp Dumpling Noodles in Soup ($8.90), the soup was actually a little bland, the dumplings was actually not bad, however I could not find any chilli sauce, so it was a little disappointing, but the BBQ pork was actually quite nice. Noodles is nothing to shout about, it is not the skinny kind, so the noodleskcan be a tad too filing.

Poached Pork & Cabbage Dumplings with Hot & Sour Soup ($6.50) was the real deal! It was sooo good%2\u0003 it has the right balance of spiciness and sourish flavour. Even my mum was raving about it. The dumplings was flavourful on its own, but what makes it tick, is really the soup. There are slices of vegetables and preserved vegetables in it and with the meaty dumplings, perfect combo.

It is really has been a long long time where I could find some really good hot & sour soup, and I don’t even need to go to a proper restaurant. 🙂

The Stewed Minced Pork Rice with Soy Egg or Lu Rou Fan ($6.90) comes in generous servings of toppings. The halved braised hard boiled egg is oka, but the stewed pork was really tasty, with just the right amount of savoriness to it.

What I like is actually the preserved vegetables, it provide a very good crunch and kind of freshen up my palate to prepare for the coming bite. I think their rice dish rates far better than the noodles ones.

You can choose your main with set like drinks and desserts too. 🙂

So next time, when you drop by Resort World Sentosa, before you say it is a place with practically no affordable and great eats, you might want to try out Ruyi. Hard to believe but there are really some gems wait to be explored.

I know next time when I go there, I will definitely be going there again and try out more dishes. 🙂

If you are interested to know what they offer, check out their menu below. 🙂

By the way, they also have another outlet at Changi Airport too. If you want some comfort quick bites, do try it out. 🙂

RICE

<,i>Braised Beef & Tendon Rice $8.90

NOODLES

DUMPLINGS

DIAN XIN

SOUP

DESSERTS

DRINKS

RESTAURANT REVIEWS : RUYI AT RESORT WORLD SENTOSA

Locations :Resorts World Sentosa, Festive Walk,26 Sentosa Gateway, #B1-222/223 Singapore 098138

Time : 24 Hours Daily

Happy Dining!

For latest news on restaurants, supermarkets, foodfairs, or simply check out some of my simple recipe ideas & reviews, please visit us at singaporesupermarketrecipes.com or subscribe to our mailing list for more details.

Cheers,

Dawn

Hi there I have heard quite a lot of Ruyi that they serve some pretty good food at affordable price, so I was quite suprise that I found one outlet at Resort World Sentosa. 🙂 Dropped by to take a quick lunch and I must say, I was pleasantly suprise to find some really good … Continue reading RUYI ANYTIME – OH YES, FOR ME DEFINITELY

[575,578,571,556
3623,3622,3621,3619,3620
