Hi there

Do you like Olives? I looooooovvve Olives. Black, green, pitted or not, whole, cutted, just love it. I use to get it at Carrefour supermarket because they sell one of the best I reckon and in vaccum pack, but lately I haven’t stock up on it.

However whenever I go to buffet, I will check out if there is any olives and will “strategically” sprinkle generously on my salad, these little savory morsels of goodness besides packing a punch on the nutrition scale. One reason I love these dearly is because how easily these can turn your dish into something wonderful. :)

Waitrose Tapenade Green Olive Spread

And lucky me, I was checking out Cold Storage new offerings lately, and came across this Waitrose Green Olive Paste. :) Better still, all in a bottle, don’t even need to pit it at all.

Grilled Salmon with Tomato Pasta using Tapenade Olive Spread

So I have decided to cook up some grilled salmon using Happycall pan, that way I can also illustrate just how easy it is to cook fish in this pan. :) I used both the tomato pasta and grilled fish with these green olive paste, and I must say, it is really easy to turn a simple dish into something really special. :)

Hi there

My family is a big fan of Clarke Quay area, mostly because it is off the hustle bustle of city area, but close enough with Meidiya supermarkets, restaurants around, so it is quite accessible to all the ammenities we want. :)

Our usual hangout include Hooters which have this mean set lunches available throughout weekends too.  Places like Fremantle Seafood Market with alfresco area, let you soak up the sun while dining along river side. :)

Hi there

If you are at Resort World Sentosa, one of the place you might want to try out is Chilis, the American Restaurant. :) I have been there couple of times so far and also the one at Tanglin when my family want to get that ultra juicy burger or just want some good Quesadillas & Tacos. :)

Chilis at Resort World Sentosa

As it is located near the Universal Studio, it is one of the more prominent restaurants at Resort World Sentosa.

Our family love their nachos, althought they are not the messy kind, rather the “strategically” arranged nachos, nevertheless it is still full of flavours, and just make you want to get some more after every bite.

Hi there

Lately I have discovered one good use for Happycall Pan, and it is to use for cooking dumplings or Gyoza. :)

Cooking Gyoza with Happycall Pan

In the past, when I cook gyoza, I will use a pan to fry the gyoza, thereafter steamed them with some broth or hot water, so as to get the crispy skin and piping hot juicy meat fillings.

It can take me a little more time as I need to ensure that the gyoza base is crispy and especially after steaming, you have to monitor closely as not to oversteam it, resulted in soggy gyoza.

So with the Happycall pan, I am experimenting it to see if it can give me a different results in a much shorter time. :)
