The Hotel’s dining establishments present a host of delectable menus and buffet that will bring joy to gourmands from 1 December right through to the New Year in 2012.
Takeaway Highlights at the Deli (1 – 26 Dec)
Every year, Goodwood Park’s culinary team come up with exciting and delicious Christmas goodies to tempt our palates. This year, turkey offering comes with a twist – Poached soy sauce turkey with ‘tau kwa’ and fragrant rice – Inspired by the Cantonese-style braised soy sauce chicken, this turkey features tender turkey meat that boasts flavours of soy sauce, cinnamon, star anise as well as cloves. Accompanied by Teochew-style braised beancurd, fragrant rice, dark soy sauce and homemade chilli sauce, this dish will be a winner. S$168 for eight to 12 persons.
2011’s logcake offering is the Araguani dark chocolate log cake with mango, passionfruit and chocolate Breton sable. Deliciously decadent, this dessert is made with premium chocolate that is 72% cocoa, complemented by dark chocolate mousse, passionfruit crème and mango cubes. Homemade chocolate Breton sablé (cookie) gives it an addictive crunch. S$62 for a 1 kg cake.
The attractively priced takeaway Combo Specials take away the headache of what to order for your home parties. The Traditional Christmas Combo (S$300 / usual price: S$376) consists of Traditional Christmas turkey, Honey-glazed boneless ham with vanilla-pineapple sauce, Traditional Christmas chocolate log cake and Decorate your own gingerbread Christmas bell. The Local Christmas Combo (S$260 / usual price: S$314) consists of Poached soy sauce turkey with ‘tau kwa’ and fragrant rice, Turkey Satay, D24 Durian Christmas log cake and Decorate your own gingerbread Christmas bell.
