Now what other better ways to try out the goodies in this Durian Fiesta than to choose their specially arranged Durian Combo? I really can’t think of any! hee hee.. Each box at $29++ (with UOB / Citibank  & DBS, 15% off during promotion period).

goodwood park durian fiesta 2014 durian gula melaka roll

It is a swiss roll with Asian flavor to it, vanilla sponge layers drizzled with some luxurious gula melaka syrup and of course filled with some luscious D24 mousse. I like the flavour of gula melaka, but the combination does tone down the durian flavors, try it if you have companions who is not so keen in durians but want to try it out. 🙂

goodwood park durian fiesta 2014 mini durian charlotte

Thi is mini treats of D24 durian mousse sandwiched between crisp yet spongy Boudoir biscuits, with a hazelnut base and also topped with white chocolate coated cornflakes. I like the crunch of the conflakes, but the hazelnut flavor was overpowered by the durian so it doesn’t really make much of a different.

Alright now this are really cute mini donuts, pinwheel shaped and of course with lots of D24 durian mousse in between, however I find it okay only, I guess last year they have really have their bar too high for the durian macademia nut tart last year. haha..

goodwood park durian fiesta 2014 durian mousse cake

One of my favourite, even though I am no big fan of mousse cakes, I really like this durian mousse cake, as it does not have any other flavors besides durian, you can really taste the luxurious creaminess of the durian, love this.

And how can we forget the stars of the Durian Fiesta, the durian puff, still one of my favourite as well, ever creamy, ever tasty.

Overall, I thought this year’s creation was interesting, but didn’t have the wow factor for me, as I find most variety were base on more on the flavors, than the texture. Last year as they have the really crunchy macademia durian tart, it was one of the best I have tried. But this year, as they have this New Durian Combo going, it actually have lessen my stress to choose which one to get for my mum, which is a good thing. haha..

If you want to check out the price, it is as below :

Will you still go back there, for the Mao Shan Wang Power puff or Mao Shan Wang ice cream, I certainly hope so. 🙂

What’s more I have yet to try out their Durian Malay cake and strudel so it may just give me one more reason to head over there! 🙂
