I think especially these merlion shape mooncakes will be a great options for me if I were to buy it for friends that are coming from overseas or even perhaps as souvenirs for them. π

When I was in April this year in Japan, I got to try out On Yasai Shabu Shabu, and I still remember how good their side dish and also soup base is!!! I am so ecstatic that they are now in Singapore!
Their first shop is located at Chijmes and they have a variety of menu to choose from, their specialty is their soup base and also selection of vegetables.
Their soup base has a wide selection and I tried soyamilk/ sichuan spicy soup / citron soup / regular. My favourite was the citron, the broth was so refreshing and I feel like I can literally polish off everything on the table with this base! haha..
