In my last trip to Japan, I told myself I will get my son a package of all power rangers stuff like coloring books, stationery, seaweed, candies, you know like get a theme going.
Then how cool is it that I can find power rangers japanese curry too, and better still in Daiso!
My son kept on bugging me to cook this for him ever since he saw this packaging, talk about the power of marketing tactics huh.
Heating up is never been more easy, just dunk it in hot water and boil for 5 mins and pour over hot steam rice.
For me, I cooked up some fried chicken so he can drizzle it with rice, and it is the first time ever my son actually eats curry rice too!
The curry is very mild and is sweet with some vegetable cubes in it, I made my own a little DIY, with some added carrots too. Now when he is out with us for dinner and if he sees kids meal, he will ask me for curry rice, that’s kind of cool. 🙂
If you can’t find this, fear not, just go to japanese supermarket and look for vermont curry, the one with apple in it, that is usually very mild and some is totally not spicy at all, you can cook that up in an instant too. 🙂
