DOMINO’S SINGAPORE – PIZZA GALORE WITH A STICKY SWEET SURPRISE AT YOUR FINGER TIPS!

If you have been following my postings, you will know I love my pizzas. 🙂 Even my 3 years old son will tell me he want pizzas when I ask him what would he like for lunch, it runs in the family, hahaha…

And especially it has been so busy at work lately, it just gave me a very good reason to have some comfort food. 🙂

Through OMY.SG, I attended an event hosted by Domino’s which feature some of their latest creations and I am pleased to say, I am one happy and fully satisfied mummy at the end of the event. 🙂

Founded in 1960, Domino’s Pizza is a world leader in pizza delivery and Singapore is their 67th country where they have established their presence. There is a total of 14 outlets currently in Singapore and the one that I went to was Kovan where they also have a spacious seatings if you want to tuck into your piping hot pizzas. 🙂

They have a few elements which sets them apart, and the one and only pizza brand which commit to a 30min delivery guarantee and a 15 min takeout guarantee, apparently by a stringent controlled process using a giant oven, the size of a car where the pizza go in from one side and out the other in 6 mins time with piping hot and golden crust which enables them to fully control the timing.

I personally can relate to this pretty well, if my family wanted to have pizzas for dinner on a weekday evening, I usually will consider them as I know exactly when I can get my pizzas delivered piping hot to my door step, without the hassle of having to call the pizza place an hour later to check when it is arriving.

And now back to the Domino’s event, we were treated to a scrumptious feast of pizza galore, many flavours which I have yet to try out as my husband always order the pepperoni pizza. 😛

We got to try out not just the flavour but also the different crust too 🙂

• Classic Hand Tossed – Their handtossed crust brushed with a rich buttery garlic infused oil
• New York Crust – Lighter hand stretched crust done the New Yorker way
• Crunchy Thin Crust – A llight & crispy crust that enables you to really enjoy the favourite toppings
• Cheese Burst Crust – Two crunchy thin crust with a layer of creamy cheddar cheese sauce in between

Accompanied with the pizza sauce like :

• Domino’s signature sauce made with fresh vine ripened tomatoes
• Sweet & Spicy sauce
• Top Secret sauce with an aromatic of creamy, cheese flavors and garlic zest

• Classified Chicken
• Meatasaurus
• Ultimate Hawaiian

I got them all with close shot so you can tell the chockful ingredients it has. 🙂

They told us that at Dominos, they are very particular in the ingredients they use and down to the cheese too, every pizzas will be placed on a scale where it will weigh the amout of cheese they sprinkle on, monitored by CCTV to ensure customers get their good dose of cheesy pizzas. That was definitely not something I would expect 🙂

My usual order is usually the Classic Hand Toss, however I think I have just found my new love which is the Cheese Burst, which has this cheddar cheese sauce in between the thin crust.

What surprise me the most is that every mouthful is like party in the mouth with this wonderful cheesy flavour which compliments and bind the rest of the fresh ingredients together. Truly a league of its own.The more I savor this, the more I feel I was like eating a baked pasta, it was that goooood!

The pizzas came with generous toppings, and for the prawn sensation, you won’t find any small prawns, they are using the fresh big prawns, wow.

And how can spicy fans not get their dose of fiery chilli flakes on their pizzas, ya, oh how I wish I have my tabasco too! 🙂

Other scrumptious sidekicks include the Garlic Cheese Rings / Golden Roasted Chicken Drumlets / Breadstix /  Twisty Bread and my favourite Crazy Chicken Crunchies!

These golden morsels of coated chicken, with tom yum flavoured, dipped into the cheese mayo, I think I really did have a couple too much, haha…

 

And now came the latest after meal indulgence which is the Caramel Sticky Dessert, it is made with finely chopped dates & boasts a chewy crunchy caramel outer crust. All these are attainable by being baked fresh to order. Smothered with the sweet caramel sauce. Dominos described it perfect with 6 words that sums it all. 🙂 Rich / Crunchy / Sweet / Warm / Moist / Sticky All Over

 

I personally love their chocolate lava cake, and when I order the set, I will order one that comes with that. Even my husband who is quite “snobbish” when it comes to chocolate cake said they are good too! haha.. 🙂  Now there is another choice I can make, caramel sticky dessert to wash down all the savory pizza, or use it to clear your palate for more 🙂

And here is the session where we were introduced with the Domino’s apps, Okay, I am not really a techie but I must admit I was quite impressed with the app itself, they demonstrated it on the spot and made an order. The app was user friendly which big pictures and I was told if you order through the app, you usually will get something on the house too. 🙂

But it wasn’t only the user friendly part which interest me, it was the GPS system where you can track your pizza whereabouts that blew me away. They basically let you track if your pizza is preparing / baking / boxing / packing / ready for delivery or delivering, all with a touch. Both online or phone order are trackable. Easy Peasy.

 

All in all it was a fantastic experience to get to understand how Dominos work and also try out their new creations which give me a good grasp of how good their pizzas are. And Cheese Burst pizzas – you are marked, I am definitely coming back for more HAHAHA..
