JAPAN – THE PARADISE OF BEVERAGES & THE BEAUTY OF JAPANESE VENDING MACHINES

Hi there

Ahh.. The paradise of beverages, I truly believe is no other than Japan. The vast varieties of drinks from soda to fruit juice, to beer to sake, to health drinks to coffees, it is impossible to know how many kind of drinks is actually available in Japan. Not counting those limited editions you can find during seasonal changes or special events. 🙂

And I think one thing I like about the beverages is that they usually cost 100 – 150 yen, which is equivalent to around $2, but you get really nice tasting or special ones.

I personally rarely drink soft drinks, and usually stick to water or perhaps green tea, but this rules never apply when I am in Japan. 🙂 Even my son enjoys getting his own every day and you can see the instant light up of his eyes when he sees all those cute little bottles showcasing in the vending machines.

Alcohol is another thing that is unbelievably cheap which perhaps fuel the consumption in Japan as well.

Every trip I go to Japan, I will get to try out many different kinds, especially is the bottle tea, which can simply comes in ten or more flavours on green tea alone. That’s pretty impressive.

If only we can get these drinks (well okay, you can still find some in Meidiya or Scotts) but at a more affordable price. That means I can get quality drinks everywhere I want. When will that happen huh?
