SIMPLE & QUICK RECIPES – KOREAN BBQ KIMCHI PORK RICE

Hi there,

I have got here a simple & quick recipe which you can whip up during weekdays, no multi pots or pans, just 1 non stick pan will do ^^.

You will need below Ingredients :

  • Carrot x 1
  • Onion x 1
  • Garlic x 3 cloves, crushed
  • Frozen Pork Belly x 1 pack, thawed
  • Cucumber x 1
  • Corriander & Spring Onions x 2 stalkseach
  • Top Gourmet Kimchi x 1/2 – 1 pack (depends on your preference)
  • CJ Korean BBQ Pork Sauce x 3 table spoon

Korean ingredients

Directions :

  1. Sliced up carrots, onions, spring onions, cucumbers & corriander
  2. Heat oil in pan under high heat, fry onions until brown, add sliced pork (Tips : quickest way to cut up the frozen pork, is to use a scissors to cut over the packaging into 3 parts, these way you will get decent bite size pork without even using the chop board)
  3. Fry till pork slices started to get crispy on the sides, and you can put in carrots & spring onions (I usually put the white portion of the spring onions at the beginning stage, and the green part later prior to serving so that it will not turn brown later due to over cooking)

Korean process 1

4.   Pour in kimchi to the stir fry and mix well, you can skip this if you do not like kim chi flavour, you can also add some chilli powder to up the heat.

Korean process 2

5.   Pour in some CJ Korean BBQ Pork Sauce, about 3 tablespoon or 1/4 of a bottle

Korean process 3

6.   Sprinkle spring onions & grinded sesame into the stir fry, and fried for about 30 secs.

Korean process 4

7.   Place the stir fry onto steam rice & garnish with sliced cucumbers & corriander & you will get a satisfying meal in less than 1/2 hour!

Remember the Korean Fair that is going on at Fairprice & Fairprice Finest, you can grab the bottles of sauces from them since they are running the promotion, or you can head down to any Korean supermarkets too.
