With my Sapporo Tomato Jelly, I am on the hunting for more fruity flavors jello. 🙂 And who can resist this so cool vintage looking japanese fruit box. I know I can’t 🙂

Every one knows about the hundred over bucks worth of Japanese Yubari melons, top grade melons….oh well, I am not that crazy nor that deep pocket to indulge in it, but who knows I can be so close to it with these goodies! Yeah! 🙂 Spotting these little bad boys of Japanese Melon Jelly just made my day!

As what its box says Sherberlious Mini Melon Jelly, these little cuppa jelly does not disappoint.

Each cups come with a good 10 over mini cups of Melon Jelly, each printed with the old school Japanese melon picture, kind of nostalgic actually. 🙂

I suppose I don’t even need to tell you to serve this cold 🙂 Icy jelly taste better than anything.

And with just opening the packaging, you are already greeted by the melon perfume lingering around your senses, ahhhh…. love it. Taste wise it is not as sweet as I thought it will be, as I always thought it will be syrup sweet. So it is a pleasant surprise for me.

If I really have to be very picky, the only drawback of this is probably the after taste, I am a little unsure why, but it does leave a slight sourish aftertaste though, I wonder if it is because I have been eating both this and tomato jelly together, whoops.

So do check this out at the Hokkaido store at Meidiya Japanese Supermarket if you pop by, stock this up and have your own little indulgence, that is serve straight cold from the fridge. Yummmm….. I love my sherberlious mini….
